I have done multiple loans with these people first they were American general finance and I had no problem with them at all and then they changed to a neither name and they were so so and then came springleaf and it all changed and now onemain financial is just not a company that I would recamend anyone to do business with I have had a home loan with them since American general and now they want to forclose on my loan they were supposed to pay insurance and taxes on the property and they didn't and it was in with my payment.the county sold my house for taxes not being paid and I had to fight with springleaf and get them to pay to get the house back and then three years later they did it again and I had to call and get them to get it back and now they want to forclose. After twenty years because they can profit off of the house because now it is a four bedroom and two bathrooms instead of three bedroom and one bathroom I would not recommend to use these people. USE AT OWN RISK
Nothing more than legalize loan sharking. Borrow from friends and family first before you contact this company. The interest rates are ridiculous and you never see a substantial reduction in principle. I wish I never heard of this company. I will NEVER BORROW FROM THEM AGAIN!
Our experience with Springleaf has been fantastic. We have done multiple loans with them for different reasons (consolidating credit cards, personal loan for our wedding) and they have been so accomidating about everything. We are currently looking at a refinance for our car and again they have been great. From start to finish they made everything easy. All the ladies in the office are so sweet and nice to work with. We look forward to using them more in the future to help us rebuild our credit.
